Bernhardt Design Playbook Collection by MNML

Designed by the MNML Design Studio, the Playbook Collection was developed to introduce a relaxed yet sophisticated softness into the conference room environment. New power, wire management, and supporting products meant a lot of parts coming together to work as one cohesive collection. As project manager for this collection, I was responsible for translating all concepts into manufacturable products and keeping all development on schedule and executed to Bernhardt's and MNML's high standards.
A new wire management system, made from pressed PET felt, was developed to soften the stance of the die-cast base and create a large, accessible space for any wiring needed in its environment.
The ability to powder coat the base structure allows the collection to easily meld into numerous environment styles.
The way the leg castings were designed, we were able to offer a shorter, lounge height tables for a more casual space.
A large die-cast leg part was developed for a seamless leg assembly.
Concealing the wire management on the round base took utilizing every last millimeter of the column extrusion and die-cast base.
The flexibility of the leg design allowed us to offer a large range round tables with this 3-legged format.
An upholstered Mediawall was developed as a non-permanent teleconference solution with full AV management capabilities built into the back storage.
A trademarked power, co-developed for UL rating, along with a new wire management track down the center brings an extra level of flexibility to the user.
Additional wire management from pressed PET felt to contain wires routing down to power sources.
